The staff of highly qualified teachers and experienced aides provides the children with a program that makes the day pass quickly and challengingly for the 21/2 to 6 year old children.

Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
students may also enroll in part-time programs or 1/2 day programs if available.

The daily program includes:

For active bodies and minds in a prepared environment.

The School occupies two brownstone buildings on West 15th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues.  There are three classrooms each set up according to the Montessori philosophy for the "prepared environment". Classrooms have space for individual work, group projects and "quiet time". Each classroom has a small library and reading corner. Children may choose to work at tables or on rugs on the floor, depending on the activities in which they are engaged.

There is a secure outdoor playground in the backyard. Weather-permitting the children have up to three supervised outdoor play periods during the day.

The school also organizes field trips in the Fall and Spring, as well as a holiday activities such as a Halloween Party, a Christmas Pageant, visit by Clowns, and a yearly International Festival in June.
